World book Day.

There’s something about the feel and touch of holding a book that I absolutely love. Ever since I was young, I dreamed about having my own library in my home, where I could   immerse myself into the art, culture, and tales of books.
 
As a dog mum, a creative and a lover of interior design, I have pulled together my top 3 dog books to celebrate world book day today.

Cool Dogs, Cool Homes: Living in style with your dog By Geraldine James

This book showcases stylish interiors and dogs that make it the perfect home, it shows you how to incorporate dogs into your life without sacrificing your style or their freedom to roam the house and garden. This was one of the main reasons it got my attention. The book dives into the life’s of dogs and their beautiful homes.
Geraldine James started her career in fashion as a contemporary designer buyer, and from fashion she moved to home and gift. Geraldine soon developed a passion for collecting and finding unusual and beautiful things – she can be found at a flea market most weekends. She was the home buying manager at Selfridges for many years and, as part of her role, spent time travelling extensively to find exciting new products for the store.

Resident Dog By Nicole England

Nicole England is an Australia based, architectural and interior photographer, artist, and author of Resident Dog. She found that the photoshoots she enjoyed the most were the ones where dogs were present. Her book Resident dog showcases amazing architecture of over 25 of the world's most beautiful homes, and captures the personalities of the dogs that live there. I love amazing architecture and dogs, so if you do, this one is for you.

Read Dog Magazine DOG, THE BOOK – Stories of Dog Ownership By Julian Victoria

Julian Victoria is the creator of DOG Magazine. The book DOG - Stories of Dog Ownership takes a personal dive, exploring what it is like to share your life with a dog. With exclusive interviews with some of the worlds most famous dog owners such as fashion designer Dries van Noten, actor Russel Tovey and Mathew Malina and Andrew Goetz skincare founders of Malin+Goetz and many more.

This new book showcases over 200 pages of photography, illustrations, interviews and a mixture of breeds. The book is bounded in a beautiful cover that feels like linen fabric. Before launching the book Read DOG magazine launched over 7 issues. Showcasing breeds I love such as French bulldogs, The Italian Greyhound and The Pomeranian which included amazing visuals and interviews. When the book was announced last year, I just had to get it on pre order.
